Kyocera KJ4A-RH06CST-STDC Printhead

The Kyocera KJ4A-RH06CST-STDC printhead is designed for high-speed single-pass and multi-pass printing applications using UV ink. It features 2,656 nozzles arranged over a 108.25 mm wide print swathe with a 0.042 mm nozzle pitch, producing a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. It has a maximum drive frequency of 30 kHz and can achieve printing speeds up to approximately 70-75 meters per minute. The printhead supports droplet volumes primarily at 5, 7, 12, and 18 picoliters.

It includes internal filters to remove foreign particles and a built-in heater to stabilize performance against ambient temperature changes. The physical dimensions are about 200 mm x 30 mm x 62-69 mm, and it optimally works with UV ink viscosity in the range of 5.0 to 7.0 mPa·s. This printhead is commonly used in industrial UV printers such as those from Gandi and Jetsci brands.​
