Konica KM1024i 6988H Printhead

The Konica 6988H Printhead, also known as the Konica Minolta KM1024i 6988H, is a high-speed, piezo drop-on-demand inkjet printhead with 1024 nozzles arranged in 4 lines of 256 nozzles each, enabling high precision and positioning accuracy for high-definition print quality. It offers a maximum drive frequency of 45 kHz, which is about three times faster than previous models in the KM1024 series, making it ideal for high-speed single-pass inkjet printers. The print width is 72 mm, with a native resolution of 360 dpi, and it supports printing up to 8 drop sizes for richer gray levels and fine picture quality.

The printhead features an All-nozzle Independent Drive System that allows simultaneous firing from all nozzles, enhancing printing speed and accuracy. Its robust, shear mode, piezo on-demand technology ensures stable ink emission, compatible with various inks including solvent, UV, and oil-based. It also includes a high-performance built-in heater for stable temperature control, especially for high-viscosity inks, and has improved chemical compatibility and eco-friendliness by using fewer petroleum-based materials.

This Konica KM1024i 6988H Printhead is widely compatible with various industrial and commercial printers such as Agfa Anapurna series, Docan, Flora, JHF Vista series, SwissQprint Nyala 2, and others used primarily in UV and solvent printing applications.
