StarFire SG600 Printhead

The StarFire SG600 Printhead is a high-performance, drop-on-demand printhead designed for single-color operation with resolutions up to 600 dpi. It features 1,536 independent channels arranged in 12 rows on a single metal nozzle plate, capable of firing all nozzles simultaneously or individually. The printhead offers adjustable drop sizes from 12 to 33 picoliters, supports grayscale capability, and operates at firing frequencies up to 50 kHz.

It is compatible with various inks including aqueous, UV, and solvent-based ceramic inks. The printhead incorporates REDIJET technology, which enables recirculation of jetting fluids to reduce ink waste and maintenance downtime. It has integrated heater and thermal transfer for precise ink viscosity control and includes a temperature sensor and OEM accessible non-volatile memory.

The StarFire SG600 is designed for easy integration, with simplified electrical and fluid interfaces, making it suitable for applications requiring consistent, reliable output over a long service life. Its print width is about 64.98 mm (2.56 in), and it is made to withstand abrasion with a durable metal nozzle plate, which is removable for cleaning or replacement.
