Printheads are resolution-specific. This unit is 300/305 dpi. Ensure your printer is configured for 300/305 dpi before installation. Using a different DPI printhead (e.g., 203 dpi or 609 dpi) may require printer reconfiguration and can affect print quality or void warranties. If you are unsure of your printer's current DPI setting, please contact us before purchasing.

Installation Notes (summary)
Turn off and unplug the printer; allow the printhead to cool.
Use ESD protection; do not touch the heating element or connector pins.
Remove label stock and ribbon, then photograph cable routing before disconnecting.
Replace the platen roller if it shows cuts, glazing, or wear; a damaged roller can cause immediate print defects on a new printhead.
After installation, start with conservative darkness and speed, then print a full‑width test pattern and barcode verification labels.
