Emerald QE-256/30 AAA Printhead

The Emerald QE-256/30 AAA printhead is a high-performance inkjet printhead featuring 256 independent channels arranged in a single row with a nozzle spacing of 100 dots-per-inch (dpi). It is designed to eject adjustable drops ranging from 30 to 80 picoliters in binary jetting mode or a 30-picoliter fundamental drop in grayscale mode, with a nominal drop velocity of 8 meters per second for fluids in the 10 to 14 centipoise viscosity range.

This printhead utilizes Dimatix's VersaDrop™ jetting technology, enabling flexible operation with adjustable binary drop sizes and grayscale capability at high throughput rates. It supports a broad range of fluids, including UV-curable, solvent, and aqueous inks, thanks to its rugged metal nozzle plate technology. The printhead can operate at temperatures up to 90°C and includes features such as an integral temperature sensor, dual-ported fluid interface for easy flushing or recirculation, and precise alignment points for accurate nozzle placement.

With excellent channel-to-channel uniformity, high-frequency continuous operation, and lightweight, thin-profile construction, the Emerald QE-256/30 AAA is suitable for scanning printer architectures and industrial applications requiring high precision and versatility. It also incorporates OEM-accessible non-volatile memory for tracking purposes.
