Important Notice
To prevent costly buyer return requests, it is critical to explicitly state what this head does NOT fit:
Do not buy this Xaar 2001+ printhead if you own any of the machines listed below. It looks identical on the outside, but the internal electronics are totally different and will not work.
- NOT compatible with older Xaar 1001, 1002, or 1003 series systems: The Xaar 2001+ utilizes a distinct 4-row, 2,000-nozzle layout. It cannot physically mount or electrically interface with print bars built for older 1,000-nozzle architectures (such as the Xaar 1003 GS6C or GS12C).
- NOT a drop-in replacement for the Xaar Nitrox or Aquinox: While these also utilize Xaar's ink-recirculation technology, they feature different physical housings and footprint architectures.
- NOT compatible with Xaar GS12 or GS40 configurations: This is specifically the GS6C (6-picoliter) variant. It will not function correctly if your printer's firmware and active print channels are hard-coded for the larger drop volumes of the GS12C (12-picoliter) or GS40C (40-picoliter) heads.
- NOT compatible with standard Water-Based (Aqueous) inks: The GS6C fluid path is strictly engineered for heavy-duty oil-based, organic solvent, and specific UV-curable industrial inks. Running unapproved aqueous inks will corrode the head and instantly destroy the internal piezo actuators.
- NOT compatible with standard HPC3 Head Personality Cards: This head explicitly requires the upgraded Xaar 2001+ Head Personality Card (HPC). It cannot be driven by older HPC3 electronics infrastructure used in legacy industrial printers.
- NOT for Consumer or Desktop Printers: This is a heavy-duty industrial single-pass component weighing several hundred grams. It does not fit consumer, commercial office, or entry-level wide-format plotters (e.g., Epson, Roland, Mimaki, or HP desktop plotters).

- Packaging: Factory sealed in original Toshiba packaging
- Handling: Do not open the printhead package until you are ready to install. Avoid touching the nozzle plate or electrical contacts. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Returns
- Return Window: Returns accepted within 14 / 30 days of delivery.
- Condition for Return: Item must be unused, unopened, and in original factory-sealed packaging. Once the printhead packaging is opened or the head is installed, it cannot be returned unless it is proven to be dead on arrival (DOA) and not damaged by improper handling or installation.
- Return Shipping: Buyer pays return shipping unless the item is not as described or is DOA and confirmed by us.
- Refund: Refund issued for the item price once the returned item is received and inspected. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Warranty
- Seller Warranty: This item is sold as new, factory sealed. We do not provide an additional seller warranty beyond the return policy described above.
- Manufacturer Warranty: Any manufacturer warranty is subject to Xaar’s policies and may require proof of purchase from an authorized distributor. We are an authorized Xaar Distributor - please message us if you have specific warranty questions.
- DOA Policy: If the printhead is confirmed dead on arrival (no electrical shorts caused by the user, proper installation, and compatible electronics), we will replace or refund according to our return policy. Damage caused by incorrect installation, incompatible electronics, wrong ink, static discharge, or physical damage is not covered.
