Compatible printer models
The Toshiba CF1BXL belongs to the broader CF1 series architecture. However, unlike the standard variant, the "XL" designation signifies a highly specialized, extra-large drop volume configuration (36 pL to 180 pL).

Important Notice
To prevent costly buyer return requests, it is critical to explicitly state what this head does NOT fit:
Standard Mimaki UJF-7151 Plus Printers
Stock Mimaki machines use the standard CF1B or CF1BL head. This CF1BXL head will NOT work in a stock Mimaki printer unless your machine was specifically customized or retrofitted from the factory for heavy 3D textured/varnish printing.
Direct Replacement for CF1B, CF1BL, or CF1L
It has the same shape and plugs, but the internal electronics are different. If your old printhead does not explicitly have CF1BXL printed on it, this head will cause severe misfiring and error codes.
Older Toshiba Systems (CA4 / CE4 / CE4W)
This head is completely incompatible with older-generation Toshiba printers. The physical size, wiring, and ink tubes will not fit.
Water-Based (Aqueous) or Solvent Ink Printers
This head is strictly designed for UV-curable and oil-based inks only. Water or solvent inks will permanently destroy the internal seals.
Do not buy this printhead based on looks alone. It is a highly specialized "XL" (Extra-Large) model. It will NOT work as a simple drop-in replacement for other models.
The Difference: Toshiba CF1BXL vs. CF1BL
While these two printheads look identical on the outside, their internal software tuning and ink delivery are completely different:
- Toshiba CF1BL (Standard): Fires smaller ink droplets (57 to 80 pL). Used for standard graphics and packaging.
- Toshiba CF1BXL (This Item): Fires massive ink droplets (36 to 180 pL). Used for ultra-thick coatings, textured varnishes, and 3D/Braille printing.
- Because the ink droplet sizes and voltages are completely different, a printer programmed for a CF1BL cannot run this CF1BXL head without advanced software and waveform reprogramming.

Returns
- Return Window: Returns accepted within 14 / 30 days of delivery.
- Condition for Return: Item must be unused, unopened, and in original factory-sealed packaging. Once the printhead packaging is opened or the head is installed, it cannot be returned unless it is proven to be dead on arrival (DOA) and not damaged by improper handling or installation.
- Return Shipping: Buyer pays return shipping unless the item is not as described or is DOA and confirmed by us.
- Refund: Refund issued for the item price once the returned item is received and inspected. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Warranty
- Seller Warranty: This item is sold as new, factory sealed. We do not provide an additional seller warranty beyond the return policy described above.
- Manufacturer Warranty: Any manufacturer warranty is subject to Toshiba’s policies and may require proof of purchase from an authorized distributor. We are an authorized Toshiba Distributor - please message us if you have specific warranty questions.
- DOA Policy: If the printhead is confirmed dead on arrival (no electrical shorts caused by the user, proper installation, and compatible electronics), we will replace or refund according to our return policy. Damage caused by incorrect installation, incompatible electronics, wrong ink, static discharge, or physical damage is not covered.
