Important Notice

Do not buy this Xaar 1003 GS12U if you own any of the machines listed below. It looks identical on the outside, but the internal electronics are totally different and will not work.
- NOT for Ceramic Printers (The "C" Variant Systems): This printhead is the "U" (UV/Solvent) model. It cannot be used in ceramic tile decoration machinery designed for the Xaar 1003 GS12C (or 1001C / 1002C). The internal seals and mechanical tolerances are completely different. Abrasive ceramic glaze inks will instantly ruin this UV head.
- NOT for Different Drop-Size Waveforms (GS6U & GS40U Systems): While it physically fits into the same mounting slots as the GS6U (6 picoliter) and GS40U (40 picoliter) printheads, it is not electronically or optically interchangeable. You cannot mix a GS12U into a print bar configured for GS6U or GS40U without causing severely broken image density, text distortion, and banding.
- NOT for Water-Based (Aqueous) Inkjet Printers: This head is strictly built for UV-curable, solvent, and oil-based chemistry. It does not fit or work with standard water-based textile, dye, or pigment desktop/commercial wide-format printers (such as Epson, Canon, or HP DesignJet lines).
- NOT for Other Xaar Series Platforms: This printhead will not fit printers configured for the Xaar 128, Xaar 501, Xaar 2001, or Xaar Nitrox series. The physical dimensions, ribbon cable connections, data configurations, and mounting blocks are completely incompatible.
